Grey Green – 822C

Grey‑green limestone is a stunning natural stone defined by predominantly light grey tones softened by gentle green undertones. Its natural texture gives it an understated, organic character, with lightly riven surfaces that introduce subtle variations across each piece. Hard and durable, this vintage sandstone has been used extensively by architects throughout history, valued for its longevity and timeless aesthetic. Together, these stones offer a palette that feels both contemporary and rooted in British architectural tradition. Mortar colour further shapes the final appearance: lighter mortars create a soft, blended look, while mid‑tone or darker mortars heighten contrast, emphasising the individuality, texture, and crisp outlines of each stone. Interior or exterior use. Coursed Stone Cladding Slips are cut from full-faced pieces of traditional coursed walling stone to a thickness of 15-30mm. Coursed cladding slips are formed into rectangular shaped stones sawn top and bottom in an architectural building style, typically with three set heights (ours are 65mm, 140mm and 215mm). L-shaped corners available.
