Jurassic White – 825Ra

White Marl limestone is characterised by its predominantly light, buff‑to‑off‑white colouring, naturally formed by the purity of its calcium carbonate composition. Subtle variations arise from small natural impurities, creating gentle shifts between creamy tones, pale honey notes and soft, chalk‑washed whites. Hard and resilient, it offers dependable long‑term performance in both traditional and contemporary applications. The stone is lightly tumbled, giving each piece a softened, weathered appearance that enhances its organic warmth. Its rubble‑build format features irregular shapes and random sizes, creating a relaxed, handcrafted aesthetic with naturally varied textures and edges. No two stones are identical; tonal movement and surface variation contribute to a refined yet rustic character that feels timeless and architectural. Mortar choice further shapes the final expression. Beige or buff mortars create a seamless, blended finish that complements the stone’s natural warmth, while mid‑grey or charcoal mortars introduce contrast, sharpening the outlines and emphasising the irregular geometry of the rubble build. Suitable for interior or exterior use. Our natural Random Stone Cladding Slips are cut from traditional facing stone to a thickness of 15-30mm, retaining the authentic stone face in the random build style. Random slips consist of largely square-edged stones of varying heights and lengths, with some irregular pieces for character.
